English IV: First blog

 Hi readers! Today, in my fifth blog, I´ll be writing about my favorite singers/bands. This blog is really difficult because I like music a lot, and I like almost all music genres (except for electronic music) so I decided to pick bands and singers from different genres, choosing the ones that I most listen to in my daily life. One of the genres I listen the most is rap. So, I have 2 favorite singers here, each one from one language: J. Cole and Urbanse. J Cole is an American rapper. He has very meaningful lyrics and his music has a chill vibe. My favorite album of Cole is "4 your eyes only", that is dedicated to his daughter. On the other hand, Urbanse is an Argentinian rapper, unlike Cole, he does not have lyrics with social criticism (or at least not so much as Cole), but anyway they are very good.  Hi readers! Today, in my fourth blog, I will be writing about a job I would like to have in the future. I´m a sophomore student of Public Administration at the University of Chile, so, as a second year student, I am not a hundred percent clear about what I would like to do in the future, but I have some idea. Currently, I think I would like to work in the future in one of these two places: in the Treasury (or some public office that depends on Treasury) or in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I imagine both places like with very serious working people and with a lot of work to do, and, as almost any public office, with a lot of indoor work. About the differences between the two bureaucratic agencies, I guess the Treasury has like a lot of math and it is more technical than the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and, in the last one, it would be really necessary to speak a decent English (I´m working on it jaja) and be very polite (to be an Ambassador for example), among other things.  Hi readers! Today, in my third blog of the class, I´m going to talk about my favorite series. I choose series because I´m not really the movie type of person. It is very difficult to choose only one series as a favorite, so I picked two from different genres: humor and drama. In the humor pick, I choose The Office. I have seen a lot of series of this genre like Friends, How I met your mother, Modern F amily, and I really liked them all, but with the series I have had more laughs is with The Office. As the name says, the series is about things that happen in an office, but the especial thing is that they have a really special boss: Michael Scott, who is the main character and my favorite, because he is the cause of almost all the uncomfortable situations that happen on the series that makes the series really funny.  Hi readers! Today, in my second blog, I´m going to speak about my dog: Horacio. Horacio is a Yorkshire, and he is seven years old. We bought him in 2013. We bought a dog because we live in an apartment, so we needed to know in that moment how much the dog will grow. In case we had lived in a house, we would adopted one. My mother named the dog after the character Horatio of CSI, because she is a big fan of the show. We had the decision of have a dog again in that moment because the house felt empty after our last dog, that we found on the street, died of cancer some months ago. To be honest, Horacio has not have the best behavior, he is not obedient and he is a little grumpy, but we love him anyway. The think I like most of my dog, is when I arrive at home and he goes to the door to receive me with the best energy, even if I just went away for 5 minutes.   

Hi readers! Today I´m going to write my first blog for English IV. In this first time I´m going to talk about a country I would love to visit: Italy. Why I would like to visit Italy? For 4 main reasons: the first one, and the most important are the beautiful landscapes and architecture. The landscapes are mostly present in villages. By other way, the architecture is more present on the big cities, like Rome or Florencia. The second reason is the food. I think that is almost impossible that you do not like italian food: like pizza or pasta. I'm a big fan of pizza margarita so I would love to eat some in the country were it was made. The third reason is the roman empire as a historical situation that remains nowadays. It would be really interesting to see past remains of a big culture like the roman empire. And the fourth and last reason, but not less important, is that I´m a big fan of the italian soccer league, so it would be really awesome for me to visit the historical stadiums l...
